Paper Plane

  • 3/4 oz bourbon
  • 3/4 oz aperol
  • 3/4 oz Amaro Nonino Quintessential (or other Amaro for slightly different flavor; I've yet to have a bottle of Nonino around)
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice (fresh squeezed)

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously with ice, then strain into a coupe glass.

Notes: The Paper Plane is one of those "new classic" cocktails. Pretty easy to remember, the amount of every ingredient is equal. This awkward recipe that I have from a card from a grocery store--I haven't seen a 3/4 oz jigger--just means you should double it and make two at a time!
